February 11 meeting
We will discuss opportunities for preview tours of Expo light rail phase I and the Orange Line extension and booths at the opening celebrations for same. Also the current status of the MAX South Bay commuter system, discussion of the city of L.A. new bus bench contractor and status of the Pacific Surfliner potentially having a local partnership take over administering and managing it a la the Capitols in Northern California.
February 18 special event
Saturday February 18th at 1 p.m. Southern California Transit Advocates is presenting Michael Dukakis, former Governor of Massachusetts and candidate for President of the United States, who will speak on The Future of Rail and Transit in America. This will be at our usual meeting location, Angelus Plaza, in the auditorium (4th floor). The event is free and open to the public. After the speech there will be a period for questions and answers. Light refreshments will be served.

March 10 meeting
