Southern California Transit Advocates wishes to comment on the changes to the Norwalk Transit System which are proposed for implementation on May 11.

We have no objection to the majority of the proposals, with two exceptions.

Elimination of the Route 3 Sunday service leaves no viable alternatives along the route. We instead suggest elimination of Sunday service on Route 2.

Reduction of the Route 4 span of service on weekends will undermine connectivity with the Metro Green Line, as it is the primary Norwalk Transit connector to and from this regional rail line. We believe this would create only minor savings while creating a major inconvenience to passengers.
